I love coastal architecture, coastal life, sunshine, ocean breezes, sand between my toes, pop-sickles, sailing, and all the colors and objects that point to coastal living. It just gives one the feeling of comfort and relaxation, taking a nap on a sailboat, feeling the rocking and swaying of the water beneath, and the warm breeze that tosses your hair. Having lived in South Florida for a time, that feeling never escaped me, and that is why, although I am now a North Carolina gal, I love the coast, and all the memories it soaks upon me. I hope you will find this pastel painting to be a memory catcher for you too. Maybe it can bring a bit of the ocean breeze into your home too.
